The Power of Play
Adventure Land NY isn’t just about fun—we also create unique outdoor learning experiences. Your students, campers, or employees will engage in activities that encompass the multiple intelligences and learning style theories as defined by Carl Jung (1971) and Howard Gardner (1983).

The Multiple Intelligences
Linguistic
Participants will learn the rules and procedures of the ropes courses’ high and low elements, as well as the terminology associated with the activities. The participants will need to discuss with their teammates their ideas regarding the elements.
Logical-Mathematical
Participants apply logic and problem-solving skills in order to complete the elements. They will also have to calculate and use critical thinking skills during the activities—but, of course, no calculator will help them through these activities.
Visual-Spatial
Prior to attempting an element, participants can visualize multiple solutions. We also highly encourage the use of imagination during our outdoor adventures for students.
A Letter to Our Schools
We are a family-owned park that has provided outdoor adventures for students since 1978. We have had thousands of schools, churches, and military programs from all over the nation visit our ropes courses and participate in team-building activities. We offer children and adults a variety of outdoor activities that promote fun, safety, and education.
We are most known for our “Outdoor Adventure Ropes Courses,” which are typically up to three-hour sessions. However, we can customize your visit to fit your specific needs. During your visit, the participants engage in activities that challenge them physically and mentally while emphasizing team spirit, increasing confidence, and encouraging problem-solving. We can host groups ranging from four people to 1,500 people at one time.
Our “Outdoor Adventure Ropes Courses” consists of five large ropes courses, each consisting of different heights and multiple elements such as net and tire crossings, swing bridges, and tight ropes. Another one of our ropes courses is our Main Action Ropes Course, with over 30 exciting 15 to 20-foot high climbing elements like a giant swing, trapeze, giant ladder, and rock wall. Most elements of that ropes course can be used by two people at the same time, allowing them to race or work together and creating a natural team-building environment.
We also have a year-round Camo Run Tube ride that is very exciting! It is a downhill hill with two 250-foot dual racing tracks that allow you to go snow tubing without the show. For the younger children, we also have a shorter track that is 65 feet long.
